"We thought we were hearing the voice of a generation when in fact we were hearing a profoundly individual, profoundly musical voice." - Rolling Stone

In 1974, Phoebe Snow exploded onto the charts with her self-titled album, one of the most acclaimed debut albums of all time. By 1976, she had established herself as a major force in the pantheon of singer/songwriters with her first two hits, "Poetry Man" and "Two-Fisted Love."

Platinum records, the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and legions of fans followed, and over the years, Ms. Snow performed with a Who's Who of prolific artists including Jewel, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Jackson Browne, Dave Mason, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Michael McDonald, Boz Scaggs, Cyndi Lauper, Roger Daltry, Chaka Khan, Cece Peniston and Mavis Staples.

In 1992 she toured with Donald Fagen's popular New York Rock And Soul Revue and was featured on the group's album recorded live at the Beacon Theater in New York City. When she wasn't recording her own works, Ms. Snow continued to tour extensively as a solo artist throughout North America, Great Britain, Germany and the Far East.

After years of world tours and recording sessions and more critical acclaim, Ms. Snow took time off from the frenetic music rollercoaster to raise her daughter. Last year, long-standing pal Linda Ronstadt urged Phoebe out of her semi-retirement by inviting her up on stage at a few of her concerts. The response was so positive that Phoebe decided to test the waters with her own limited solo engagement at New York's Birdland. She sold-out four nights and grabbed glowing reviews heralding her return to the music scene. She is currently working on a new album, due to be released in the coming months.

In her live performances, Phoebe Snow offers a drop-dead, R&B soul-infused show with a new group and a rich catalog of both fan favorites and recently written songs.

This performance received generous support from Bonnie & Jamie Schaefer.
